Sekinoo Falls — Attraction in Miyakonojo

The view of the waterfall is absolutely stunning! The main majestic waterfall is complemented by two smaller ones on the sides, creating a picturesque scene.

There’s a cozy café serving ice-cold treats and a souvenir shop that doubles as a camping store called Snow Peak, a renowned Japanese brand. The shop offers high-quality and stylish camping gear and goodies.

The area also promotes a sustainable village package, allowing visitors to camp, rent bicycles, and explore the surrounding area. There’s a charming accommodation option available, which you can book in advance. During my visit, I noticed some cyclists staying in beautiful, brand-new wooden houses.

Beautiful natural area! A couple of the falls have been manipulated to what they are today, but still pretty. And the main falls--Ohtaki--is incredible! There's a nice loop walk upriver and a couple of bridges across to help you take it all in....
