10/10. We drove up from Koboke area using Maps, turning right just before Iyaguchi Station and winding up. The drive was super stunning through the nature and fairly well sign posted given the remoteness. A narrow road but on a Wednesday there was noone else around (there are a few ways to get up and seems from the north is more popular/wider road.)

The marshland was stunning. Access to the boardwalk was direct from the parking lot so it's very easy. You can take a few different routes across the area. Recommend...

Excellent place to visit in the area, very few places like it. I came during Golden Week when the weather was still cool. There weren’t many flowers in bloom but few bugs. The walking paths look renovated, very clean and new looking.

There’s a path to a nearby waterfall and it continues further to an onsen.

We had some time to kill and stopped by for a quick stroll. There wasn't much to see in early August, but it could be nice when the flowers are in bloom. A kind lady was selling watermelons, so we stopped and enjoyed one on the path. Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Would love to come back in a season when the area is...
