Kaochi-dani Valley — Attraction in Nabari

Beautiful valley, especially in autumn when it becomes very crowded on weekends. The contrast of cliffs, autumn leaves, and clear greenish water is a wonderland for photographers. Went on Oct 31 and leaves were just changing, still not so crowded but the road is only one lane at points so it is easy for traffic jams to form. As of 21.11.2024, the valley was dressed beautifully in fall colours. Best time to see might be the next few days when the temperature would further decrease.

It's a bit tricky to drive along the route through the valley. Some parts were quite narrow, barely able to let two cars pass. Be aware of oncoming cars.
