Rosa & Berry Tawada — Attraction in Nagahama

It is a nice place to spend a day with family. Approximately 1 hour drive from Nagoya using the toll roads (¥1,700). There are many BBQ's available for reservation and the menu is well prepared. There is also a separate restaurant at the top of the hill beside 'Shaun the Sheep' farm. Delicious Fish n Chips as well as tasty sandwiches and quiche.

The 'Shaun the Sheep' farm itself is pretty cool. A lot of detail went into the construction of the main house, farm house, and surrounding yards. Our two girls love 'Shaun the Sheep' and quickly realised where they were. Workshops are offered for an added price. Kids can bake breads, make key chains, magnets and mascots. There is a very simple playground for kids behind the farmer's house but is wasn't very busy. Most kids were enjoying running to and from the attractions spread about the park.

A nice place. It's basically a pretty big park with an area for Shaun etc and an area for British gardens etc and some Hobbit homes Lord of the Rings style too. It's very good if that's what you're looking for. Cute cafes gift shops and bbq spot as well. Owned by Osawa family of New Zealand Osawa wines which are good too. Ten minutes by taxi, 3000yen, or 20 minutes by bus for a few hundred yen. Went on a Sunday with good weather and it was crowded but not overly so. Prices are average for theme park...
