This place is so underrated! It’s such a pretty spot for sightseeing! Best if you can ride the slope car up during sunset time, else it’s still a perfect spot to have a Birds Eye view over the entire Nagasaki and admire the city lights slowly lighting up as night time approaches. The slope car ride is definitely an interesting experience too! (Have not seen or rode on a slope car before…only cable cars…hence I found it pretty cool!) The slope cars were in 15mins frequency so it’s pretty good too!

We decided to go up the ropeway and down the slopecar. There is a cute souvenir stamp available in the souvenir shop. It's definitely cheaper than the ropeway but less accessible to public transpo than the ropeway stay. Our arrival time and the bus departure time was just a minite or two apart so we were nervous that we were going to miss it. We were staring at the waiting bus for 5min or so before we were able to make a run for it. We made it to the bus just in time.

The view was wonderful but as a western foreigner you might need to show your ticket more than the usual tourist. I was in line ready to go down the ropeway, I was the only one in line asked to show my ticket more than twice.

Nice ride~ runs every 15 mins. Great view and experience. However, you can come down with another tram, up and down, 300 yen or 500 yen RT, to go down or walk down.

We went down by foot and we took up the slope car. The staff was very kind and professional. The equipment is very elegant and modern.

The slope car was clean and AC so very comfortable. gray sights and very reasonably priced.
