This site is fun to visit anytime of the year but, especially during the month of January when Cherry Blossoms are blooming. It is a great location to enjoy nature and do some hiking/stair-climbing for exercise and fresh country air. The end of January is when the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, usually takes place. Strollers and wheelchairs may traverse the mountain with those willing to get some hardy exercise. It does get extremely busy during the festival season. Toilets are conveniently located near the entrance and, pit stops are recommended here, before climbing the hills. Festival tents provide foods and games for families at the event in January. Yen is the local currency and recommended for those visiting , as foreign currency and credit cards would probably not...
Read moreSuch a big park! The best place to see Sakuras, Cherry Blossoms. There more than 500 trees, ideal place around early February to get a good few of the cherry blossoms. There is a really cool suspense bridge, definitely a must see! I encourage to drive the car to some places because if you park at the very bottom and go about the park you will be VERY tired.
