Such a big park! The best place to see Sakuras, Cherry Blossoms. There more than 500 trees, ideal place around early February to get a good few of the cherry blossoms. There is a really cool suspense bridge, definitely a must see! I encourage to drive the car to some places because if you park at the very bottom and go about the park you will be VERY tired. There is also a little place that sells tea, coffee and pastries, Yen only. All in all really cool park!

This was so much fun for all of us, including kids (ages 4-12.)Starting from the base and following the stairs up through the cherry blossoms (Jan/Feb) with the carved stone lanterns was unforgettable and dramatic. We were able to turn around and come back down the way we went up, since it was wide enough. There were vendors set up for sakura viewing season that had yummy meals/snacks (byo trash bag for cleanup!)

Nice trek up to the top. Good view of Nago at the top. Facilities were not well maintained. Grass was overgrown as well as the landscape. Probably due to the weather, the place looks sad and forgotten. The exercise equipment was designed for children as most of them were miniature of adult equipment.

This site is fun to visit anytime of the year but, especially during the month of January when Cherry Blossoms are blooming. It is a great location to enjoy nature and do some hiking/stair-climbing for exercise and fresh country air. The end of January is when the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, usually takes place. Strollers and wheelchairs may traverse the mountain with those willing to get some hardy exercise. It does get extremely busy during the festival season. Toilets are conveniently located near the entrance and, pit stops are recommended here, before climbing the hills. Festival tents provide foods and games for families at the event in January. Yen is the local currency and recommended for those visiting , as foreign currency and credit cards would probably not...

Great park, especially awesome during the cherry blossom festival. Past the park is where the real blossoms are. There is a great number of steps however, so I would suggest the appropriate attire. Also there are vending machines and restrooms along the way. About half way along the trail of cherry blossoms is a child's playground that is very fun for younger kids. Over all great place to explore especially during mid winter to...
