Shonai Ryokuchi Park — Attraction in Nagoya

Shonai Ryokuchi Park station is 3-5 minutes away. Huge park where you can enjoy flying kites, skateboard area, baseball, volleyball, and other sports. You can bring your own barbecue grill or you can rent. Some people go for a morning or afternoon jog and you can ride bicycle inside too. There are boats that you can rent near the barbecue area. It is one of the larger parks in Nagoya city, and it has plenty of tall trees and flowers, even in winter. But perhaps it is located at outer side of the Nagoya city or perhaps it is not fully introduced to the visitors, the park is relatively quiet and kept for the local residents.

But the Park has many dog walkers who like to exchange and share their experience of their doggie care.

I went there on April 6th. It's easy to find from shonai ryokuchi Koen station on the Tsurumai line. One of my biggest reasons for going there was to see cherry blossoms and rape blossoms in bloom at the same time.
