Almost every tour on the classic Nakasendo walk will tell you to start from Magome to Tsumago but if you like to extend it a little I suggest to start from here. If you come by train, take the local one to Ochiaigawa station and reach this place that marks the old spot of the former "juku". From here take the street that goes south and crosses the main road. After that you can't go wrong, the path is clearly marked. Even if you don't speak japanese, when you're not sure just look for 中山道. Or just ask, anyone will be glad...

Read moreHicimos la ruta de Nakasendo desde Magome hasta Tsumago. Ruta muy fácil y preciosa. No había mucha gente. Aunque teníamos miedo porque en muchos blogs advertían de la presencia de osos por la zona y hay carteles de aviso en la ruta, el señor de la casa de té nos dijo que el nunca había visto alguno. Ruta muy recomendable para ver naturaleza y pueblos típicos. Vimos una serpiente eso sí, pero tenía ella más miedo de nosotros...
