Horrible!!!! Do not recommend as this beach access road is very narrow with blind spots so you must drive very slow and be very cautious. It is extremely busy if more than 5 or 6 cars are there that’s how tight it is. There are Much better beaches just down the road with easy access and parking you can walk to this beach from them in under 5 minutes if you do want to go.

There is a beach parlor built in this tight area that has all kind of signs posted everywhere and makes the area look really junky and unwelcoming. From what I can tell the beach parlor is taking up a lot of valuable parking spots .

There are a few parking spots that are 1000 yen each . There is a space to park maybe 3 cars for free but you gotta be here early to get them. There is no real uturn place if it gets busy as the entrance road is wide enough for 1 car at best. There is 1 Porta John style toilet but you have to pay to use not sure if toilet paper is an extra charge. Looked like there was some kind of homemade shower that you have to pay for as well.

The famous lookout that draws a lot of people for a photo op is completely roped off by the local town and not accessible .

On my visit I felt like there was some kind of heavy tension in the air as some tourists visiting were yelled at, kind of berated while they were finding a parking spot. I could tell from facial expressions that people were very uncomfortable and turned off with...

So beautiful!! It was very sunny and nobody there in the early morning. It felt like a private beach! To have this amazing view and atmosphere for yourself with no people around is luxury, I have never experienced this before. I feel like Okinawa reminds me a lot of Spain but all beaches I’ve been to in Spain are usually crowded with tourists. This beach feels like a hidden treasure, so much better in real life than in pictures! It feels very tropical and the water is warm, clear and amazing. The seashells are so beautiful, the giant stones too. Since I came home I have been thinking about it every day. I want to improve my japanese so I can go back. Okinawa is amazing! (I have never seen shells like this in my life, I’m sorry I took them though it is not good for the eco system of the beach but just this once I really wanted to bring a part of this memory with me, I will bring them back to Denmark and put then on a shelf and worship them and...

Okinawa is full of friendly people. But not here! We were looking for a beach in the area to snorkel and wandered to this beach. I wanted to check out the suitability of the beach since it was during low tide period. It was a dead end road and once I got off the car I was welcomed by the?owner asking for money. I explained I want to check out the beach first and he started yelling and shouting. Of course I didn’t stay. There was a sign saying prohibit U- turn ?in a dead end road……They want your money only, not you. Bad...

Visit during low tide to experience tidal pools and the interesting creatures living within. The unique geography of this spot allows visitors close and easy access to tidal pools growing live corals, teeming with pretty blue fish, and featuring an array of sea slugs, urchins, and other unique animals. Set against a backdrop of powdery white sand (just under the pumice) and striking rock formations, this is a quintessential Okinawa beach that shouldn’t be missed. Note: the best tidal pools are north of the beach.

Our favourite beach without any public amenities. We drove down in the late afternoon and parked our car and walked into a paradise. Crystal clear water, fine sands, no rough corals and stone, no seaweed and no other signs of life just us. There was an unmanned hut/ house with a grave stone next to it. We saw the other side of the beach but just stayed and swim a little in the warm water and wrote our name on the sand. One thing i did notice is red ants around the rocks and the sand area closer to the rock.
