The Pompoko Mountain in Shinrin park is an artificial air inflated play mountain which is great fun for kids. It is one of the three bigger play areas in Shinrin Park, also known as Musashi Kyuryo National Government Park. The Pompoko mountain is about half between the West and Central gates, with the latter being marginally closer than the west gate.

Beside the Pompoko mountain there are flower fields. Currently, October 2019, there are thousands of Cock's Comb in bloom as well as some Kochia. There are toilets in the area as well as a large shaded gazebo and a water...

南口ゲートから近いところにある運動広場に、 大きなひょうたんを横にしたような、フワフワしたトランポリン運動ができる施設「ぽんぽこマウンテン」が有ります。 白く大きな、ひょっこりひょうたん島が緑色の芝生に浮いているみたいです。 その上で沢山の子供さんが、ジャンプしたり転げ廻ったりして、本当に楽しそうに遊んでいました。 ゴールデンウィーク期間中に行った時は、大変人気の施設のため、コロナ対策も兼ねて、人数制限をして対応していました。 20分毎に利用の整理券を配布していました。 この施設の周りには、他にも四輪バギーや左右の腰にゴムチューブを着けて大きくジャンプするアトラクションも開催していました。
