It was very wide to explore and there’s a lot of seasonal flowers to check out. Went here on a rainy day and there’s not much people around so it felt like we had the whole park for ourselves but didn’t have much of a great view since Mt Daisen was covered by the clouds and fog from the rain. Some cafes at some spots are not open that day (even though it says “open” on the entrance) but i guess it’s because there’s really few visitors at the time but there are still staffs at the restaurant and omiyage shop close to the entrance. Overall it was a great experience, the creativity of the themes of each garden is nice, it’s spacious and they will lend you umbrellas if it’s raining, plus you can get back your 100yen from the coin locker because some parks don’t give the money back to you.

This place is a steal at 1,000 yen maximum per person (cheaper outside of peak season, cheaper for children and large groups and half price for foreigners - bring your passport). We came during the day in winter, but in hindsight we should have arrived a bit later for the evening light display ('illumination') that starts at 17:00. There are flowers in bloom during every season, but winter is cheapest for a reason. There's a stamp rally game running until the end of May 2023 - scan at least 4 of the 6 QR codes found around the grounds and receive a free magnet. We're keen to return one day during peak season.

What an amazing and beautiful flower park from the entrance with picture taking stands to the lovely walking path around the edge of the park to the air conditioned buildings at the cardinal points. Along the path were very creative benches made by local students. If walking isn't really your thing, you could take the train around for a small fee. The center domed conservatory was beautiful and I got to make my own flower keychain for 500 yen. The restaurant was very reasonably priced and there was a little store/restaurant just outside.

The flower park is in a very good design. You can enjoy the view from top and go down to places that you like. It is so spacious here. There are many washrooms too which is convenient to the elderly . We went there in the beginning of August, despite the limitations of flowers varieties, the sunflower is really so attractive. It would be really great to come in different seasons again.

Beautiful flower park that you could easily spend a day wandering in. The highlights included the central dome and the striking view of Mount Daisen. There are many different gardens, so if flowers are not your thing, there is still a lot to see. Try some of the pear-flavored ice cream if you get a chance!

Visited on a Sunday in early Dec. While there are not much flowers to see in daylight, the Christmas lights are beautiful. There are fireworks at 7pm from Fridays to Sundays. Better go in the afternoon and stay for the fireworks display. For foreigners, show your passport and get 50% off the entrance fees.
