7年ぶりにお邪魔してきました。2時間コースと3時間半コースのガイドコースがあります。今回は2時間コースに参加して来ました。以前は大人気で予約がないと参加できませんでしたが、今は当日飛び込みでの参加もできるようです。 ツアー前に何を見つけたいか聞かれるので答えておくとツアー中にそれをしっかりとテーマとして入れてくれます。 リクエストしたヤマネの話がたくさん聞けました。 シーズンとしては秋が人気だそうです。平成最後の平成の森訪問がもう一度できるかなー。

標高1000mでハイキングしました。起伏はありますが、登山ほどのきつい勾配の箇所は少なく、比較的登りやすい方です。ただし、気の根っこが張っていたり、石がゴロゴロしているので転倒には気をつけた方が良いです。 フィールドセンターにはハイキングコースの模型図があります。また、那須の歴史だったりそれにまつわる本も沢山ありました。カフェとテラス席もあり、ハイキング終わりにくつろげる場所もありました。また行きたいです。
