Very fun place to spend a couple of hours. Easy to reach by bus from Nishinasuno or Shiobara onsen. The main area is free to enter and wander around, and you can see the horses for free. Attractions such as archery, horse riding, mini karts, and bicycles are priced separately. The area with animals was 500 yen, and an additional 100 yen for feed. Highly recommend getting the pellets, all the animals loved them, and there was a lot of feed, so I could feed and pet all the different animals. Most of the cows couldn’t be petted, only the calves at the front of the area could be fed and petted. The animals looked moderately pleased and healthy. The soft cream was delicious. The souvenir store had a wide variety of milk-based souvenirs as well as meat. I haven’t tried the milk I bought yet but I’m looking forward to it. Wish the gacha area had a change machine. I wanted to turn the special gacha, but...
Read moreThis place is truly a paradise for dog owners. It boasts a spacious area with a dog run available for a fee. When I visited on a weekday afternoon, there were many pet owners from both in and out of the prefecture, evident from the variety of license plates in the parking lot.
While it seems less known among international tourists, this hidden gem is a fantastic spot to experience the charm and nature of Japan, particularly in Nasu.
Having traveled extensively, I found this location exceptionally memorable. Especially during the cherry blossom season, it offers a serene escape from the crowded spots in Tokyo, allowing you to enjoy the blooms at your leisure.
The facility also includes restaurants and snack options like ice cream stands, as well as areas where you can interact with animals. It’s rich in variety and perfect not just for those with dogs but for families too. I highly...
Read moreLarge farm in Nasushiobara. Lots on offer. The farm is free in and there are some free attractions such as a basic playground, but there are also a lot of fee paying attractions. The attractions aren't used much, possibly due to the exorbitant prices. There are a handful of attractions that are somewhat reasonably priced. There is lots of places to get food: either take out or sit in.
Good buzz about the place as many people take a stroll through the grounds, especially during cherry blossom season.
Parking is plentiful and it is also free. Close to the Tohoku expressway. It is near Nasunogahara Park...
