根室勤務勤務の若い時分に、納沙布岬灯台から花咲灯台とくしろに向けて、灯台を訪ねて以来、ほぼ５０年ぶりになる😅。

１８９０年(明治２３年)に初点灯されている。１９５１年(昭和２６年)には改築されている🆗。

花咲港を見下ろす岬の上に立ち、霧が多発する土地がらゆえに、赤白のツートンカラーで、四角形の灯台だ👏。

地上から灯頂まで１０m海面から灯火部分までは、３１mと資料にある🆗。

この灯台は日本の灯台５０選にも選定されている。ちなみに北海道では９箇所の灯台が選ばれているのだ👏。 さらにその中にこの根室地方で３灯台が選ばれて要る。花咲灯台、納沙布岬灯台、落石岬灯台である🆗。
