Shirone Grape Garden — Attraction in Niigata

A must-see location especially if you never been to a fruit farm, and maybe even then.

There seems to be different fruits in season any time of the year, and it was the season for grapes and pears when we were there.

Entry to the main area is free, and you have fruits, vines and leaves just above you, quite practically as far as your eyes can see, providing shade to the whole area. You can find quite a number of animals around that you can pet, tons of tables and chairs to lounge on too.

We went there and tried the unlimited eating of grapes for only 1,200 yen no time limit. We enjoyed and ate a lot and its worth the price you pay. The fruit garden has different kinds of fruits all throughout the year depending on the season. You can pick fruits by yourself ,have it weigh at the counter and pay, they have also pre picked fruits ready to buy for your convenience.
