The Ehime Prefectural Science Museum (愛媛県総合科学博物館), located in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, opened in November 1994. The museum's building, designed by Kisho Kurokawa Architects & Associates, includes permanent exhibitions such as the Nature Hall, Science and Technology Hall, and Industry Hall, as well as outdoor displays. It features the world's second-largest planetarium, with a dome diameter of 30 meters. Popularly known as "Kahaku," the museum attracts around 200,000 visitors annually. It offers various classes and lectures, sharing research findings with students and the general public, thus contributing to the spread and enhancement of scientific education in Ehime Prefecture.

Ehime Science Museum of Niihama, Ehime You need to take a bus from city to the specific place coz’ it is far from the city They have their own Museum and Historic View of Niihama. They also have a Planetarium and Kids Corner also. One of the best attraction is the Jurassic Period where they have a Dinosaur Figure. The place is silent and peaceful and you can have a piece of mind here

Was excellent. Equally as good as the Osaka science museum (which was outstanding) - but without the crowds. Can’t believe it isn’t more popular. Our kids (10 & 8) loved it. Plenty to look at, touch, and interact with. Could easily spend 1/2 a day here. Plenty of parking and relatively easy to find once exiting the highway.

If you love science, you'll love this place. Three floors of VAST science exhibition stretching from the beginning of the universe to the latest advancement of human civilization. So, this of course includes dinosaurs and the stars. It could take you a whole day to explore the entire amazement and amusement (yes, I'm talking about planetarium shows!) this place has to offer. Definitely a must-go for a weekend...
