Edelweiss Ski Resort — Attraction in Nikko

The place is great for family. They provide several courses ranging from the beginner and intermediate or people who quite often skiing/snowboarding. The staffs are also very kind, warm, and helpful. It is one of the nearest ski resort to Ibaraki. The roads approaching the resorts are icy, so make sure your vehicle is equipped with winter tire or tire snow chain. Another option to reach this resort is using the free shuttle bus which is available from 9:00AM from the bus stand near Kinugawaonsen Sta. It was nice place but much great compared to other place since the depth of ice was very little and the top lift was closed where the natural and fresh should be present( disappointed). Well the rentals are cheaper than other places. Also the lift price was cheaper like 4200¥ Coming to the beginner place the ice was very less so even it was tough for the intermediate players this might be the reason it was sunny. 2021年2月訪問。コロナ禍のため例年よりお客さんが少なく、レンタルの場所が例年ほど多くなく、人が近過ぎて心配になるようなことは無かったです。リフトは第二クワッドリフトが一番早いし、滑りやすいコースに直結しているため、多少混雑することがありますが、すぐに乗れます。他のリフトは全てゆっくりなので、ハードなコースをガツガツ滑りたい人には向いていません。休み休み滑りたい人や、初級者、中級者に向いているコースが多いです（ただし地元の子っぽい集団はものすごく上手です）。 コース幅も広いし、傾いている斜面もほとんどないので、初級者が気持ちよく滑るには、サイコーだと思います。しかし地味にモーグルコースやポールが設置されていたりして、上手な人は色々な滑りを楽しめて飽きません。 ロッカーは、靴が100円です。更衣室のロッカーは500円と600円（どちらも最後に100円戻る両替機があるけれど全て100円玉で投入する必要がある）ですが、一日中出し入れ自由なので重宝します。 男女別でロッカーが設置されています。あまり広くないです。ロッカーの前で着替えても大丈夫ですが、見られずに更衣室で着替えたい場合、女性でも3っつしかないので、混雑していると大変かもしれません。 ファミリーだと食事券付きで少し安くなるリフト券セットがあるのでありがたいです。キッズ広場はリフト券とは別途で入場料500円がかかるので、滑るかキッズ広場か固定したくなります。 お昼はセンターハウスで食べられますが、ご飯ものと麺類の提供場所が違うので少し面倒です。そしてちょっと割高のゲレンデ価格です。ちょっと欲張ると1500〜2000円/1人かかってしまいます。（たこ焼き、ポテト、ケーキなどあと少し食べたいを叶える商品が置いてあって…引っかかっちゃう！） お座敷がないので、足を伸ばして休むことはできません。 雪が降らなくても風が冷たいことがあるので、寒い予報の場合は防寒対策をしっかりしていた方がいいと思います。 帰りにクレープ屋に寄ってしまうのも仕方がないけ...
