My family took a taxi 2 way from Dai-ichi Takimotokan to San Laiva Ski in early January 2025. Taxi fare for about 3000 yen per trip. We saw deers on our way there. I really love the San Laiva Ski. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. They also helped us to book a taxi in advance for return. My girls enjoyed skiing and the snow drive. My husband loves the snow boarding and I really enjoyed my sled. I think the price of the activities are cheaper than other places. Not crowded but absolutely a fun day for our family.    Read moreThere are no buses that go directly to the ski resort. You'll need to take a taxi both to and from the resort. A taxi from Noboribetsu Station to the ski resort costs around 4,000 yen. The staff at the resort have a fairly good command of English.
