Children's Forest Wanpaku Land — Attraction in Odawara

Awesome park to spend a day with kids - plenty of places for them to play, look for bugs, long slides, get dirty, run around and then sleep in the car on the way back. There is also lots of nice easy trails for walks. Since it's high in the hills there is a nice cooler breeze even in the summer. We spent 4 hours here and managed to see the entire park and do almost everything. I would probably say 6 hours would be best to give yourself some time. Most parking requires reservations but Parking lot 4 is for unreserved and is located directly in the middle.. I think it's a great spot. We visited the park today with our Japanese grandchildren. They enjoyed the climbing, slides and open spaces. We enjoyed the beautiful sakura blossom. As many reviews mention, there are no cafes or restaurants on site but there were several food vans serving crepes, hotdogs, noodles and chips, also candy floss.
