Beautiful waterfall and a really fun adventure! The walk itself is as posted at the parking lot - about 20-30 minutes from parking (P.S. Go to the parking location on Google Maps!), and mostly in the river itself. There are some parts of the route where you walk along the side, including up some available ropes, but for the most part dress for water. Shoes, swimsuits, etc. Once at the falls you can swim in the pool, and there are spaces around the falls themselves to park and have a picnic. There is also a rope at the waterfall to swing off of ala Tarzan. Be watchful, some of the rocks on the walk up can be slippery, so I would recommend wearing a backpack to keep your hands free. Not impossible, and I saw many young children (as young as 5) do the walk like...

The hike is maybe 15 minutes to 20 minutes if you hoof it. You walk most of the way through the stream, over some slippery mildewy rocks and at times hold on to rope to hoist yourself up. If you are a BA mofo, no problem! If you have young kids, have balance issues, etc take your time, no footing is ever for certain unless dry ground. Leave the flip flops at home and wear shoes you dont mind getting wet. Likewise, I know your dog is your everything but there is at least one tough section to climb that i saw terrify a dog who then proceded to poop in a swimming area... so yeah please dont bring your dog it didnt seem much fun for them. Check weather, do not go after a heavy rain or if storm is expected, the trail is in the water so you gonna have a bad...

Nice mini adventure…first time ever we need to get wet en route to a waterfall…. The car park attendant who is also the waterfall staff gave us a disclaimer sheet that looked rather intimidating which we were not prepared to go for as it shows the deep waterfall pool as well as a small section where we need to climb up vertically using a rope. We went off but returned after reading more of the google reviews saying it’s actually quite safe. Would be good that you rent their house wet shoes as the rocks can be slippery. Can forget about the wetsuits as it will be an overkill unless u intend to dive into the waterfall pool which is rather small. Not recommended for old folks, toddlers or...

You have to pay for parking but it's definitely worth the experience. There are bathrooms located right at the parking lot and plenty of space in them if you need to change in or out of the bathingsuit. It seems sketchy driving there at first but once you get to the remote location it's worth the walk! Definitely wear shoes you don't mind getting wet. Something you can hike in and wade through water in so that it will protect your feet. Flip flops are too unstable and bare feet get hurt! There are mosquitos and spiders to bring your bug spray but the water is clear and refreshing and the view is beautiful. Once you finish here head over to Okuma beach 20 minutes away for a beautiful sunset!!
