Ogose Bairin is one of Kanto's big three plum groves. The trees bloom from around mid February to Mid March. They hold a plum blossom festival during most of this period. On the weekends of the festival there are live performances, food stalls and a mini steam locomotive that winds through the trees. The town's mascot usually makes an appearance on weekends too.
