Matsubara Ryokuchi Park — Attraction in Oita

I should have taken more pictures but I was too happy pedaling around this beautiful park. I was told that the industrial companies around the park put in a lot of effort (taxes?) to develop and maintain the park. Lots a trails to ride on, grass and trees so nice and shady (spooky at night) with a baseball field and tsunami evacuation high ground...Super nice way to stretch...

昼前に犬のお散歩で行きましたが、人も犬も歩いてなく公園内は広い敷地にも関わらず手入れされてて、この日も剪定作業されてました。

人口的な公園とは違い、自然が残ってるとても過ごしやすい緑地でした。

昼頃になると近くの工場からお昼休み散歩に出る方がちらほら...

海岸沿いの工場地帯と、内側の市街地との間を仕切るように位置する広大な自然公園。駐車場が分かりにくい上、たまたまなのか公園内には昼間なのに人っ子一人おらず、あまり積極的に管理されてない印象。個人的にこういった少し荒れたような雰囲気の場所は好きだが、家族連れでピクニックをしたりする...
