Toriidaira Yamabiko Park — Attraction in Okaya

The park is quite nice. Quite natural and woodlandish. There is a dog run and you can rent bicycles to cycle around. The place is poorly signposted though and most of it seems derilict (eg frisbee golf and skating area appear to have been left to decay). The people running the park are not friendly though and even though it is outside, they seem to be anti animals and shouted at us for walking...

Nice relaxing park, with cool slides, and a toboggan that you pay 540 yen for a ticket for a lift like a small ski lift to the top of a hill, and then a toboggan down a meandering half pipe. You control your speed with a lever.

We decided to go after the snow and got to see frozen trees which looked so beautiful. There were no people when we went up from the parking lot. It can be little dangerous to go during snow. We could see the Lake Suwa and other cities with a great view to enjoy. We want to...
