とある夏の日に訪問。たまたま、泊まれる博物館というネットの記事を見つけ、この年の夏の旅行を山陰に決めました。

泊まった部屋は3階の2段ベッドルーム。広くありません。空調はよく効きました。Wi-Fiもありますがあまり電波は強くありません。冷蔵庫あり、延長タップがあったので充電などには困りませんでした。夕飯を宿にお願いしなかったので適当に買っていきましたが、宿周辺にはあまり店がありません。出雲側から車で行きましたので、スーパーなどで事前に購入しておくとよいです。※ですので夕飯については言及なし。

ナイトミュージアムは、こじんまりした博物館ですが、昼と趣が変わり楽しめました。写真を撮ってもよいと言われましたがアップしません。ぜひ訪問して体験ください。なお、閉館からナイトミュージアムまでの間も、宿泊者は博物館を見学できます。

風呂は家庭風呂的なもので、シャワー2つと6つの部屋を男女交互にセットしているようです。日替わりですかね、特に問題はありませんでした。目の前の温泉が設備修理で長期休業のため、復活するとより良いかなと思います。車で15分ほどの日帰り温泉についての紹介もありました。

朝食は噂通りとても美味しく、特にひとりひとつの鍋で炊いた白米が絶品。小学生の子どもも、素朴な和食のおかずで完食していました。

子連れの宿泊も多く、廊下を走れば音が聞こえますが、ナイトミュージアムの体験と素敵な朝食、山の中での一泊は素敵な体験でした。
