Sainokawara Park — Attraction in Okushiri

Beautiful location.

Some of the facilities are showing signs of age, but toilets are clean and stocked with paper and even a bin which is a welcome surprise.

Western style pit toilets are in the unmarked small shed closer to the tip of the island.

There is a kitchen area but no showers that I could find.

There is a cafe which was closed early September, it must only open in peak times.

A vending machine selling non alcoholic beverages is available 24/7.

Heavy winds at night can really blow your tent around and lower the apparent temperature.

奥尻島最北端にあります。左右に海が広がり、とても景色が良い場所です。

こちらは霊場としても知られており、ケルンや慰霊碑などが建ち並んできます。独特な雰囲気を味わうことができます。
