Not sure if you're supposed to camp or not, but was an absolutely gorgeous spot to spend the night. Perfect for any long-distance cyclists. Super friendly locals come by to chat as well. No toilet, but a really nice one is just a 3 minute cycle up the road. (Apologies if this isn't supposed to be an overnight stop.)

Unbeatable photo spot, the first one you will find from Onomichi to Imabari. Please be conscious about own physical limits, it’s a very tough ride to Imabari if you are not a seasoned cyclist. Go back to Onomichi if it’s been more than 3.5 hours and you haven’t reached Omishima yet.

A nice place to take a little break and enjoy a great view of the Innoshima Bridge and the straits across to Ohama lighthouse while cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Branch seating and gazebo provides shade. Drink vending machine also available.
