Shirokita Park — Attraction in Osaka

This is an amazing local park. It’s situated between Asahi-ku and Awaji area. There’s plenty of bike trails and places to sit and chill. There’s an expansive pond where people come and fish. The Shirokita bridge leads over to the Awaji area. There are plenty areas for children to come and play. Great Pokemon Go stops. The Osaka Institute of Technology is within walking distance, so many college student frequent the park. Amazing neighbor park. The cherry blossoms are preparing to bloom soon, so many people will be venturing...

Stunning display of irises and only ¥200 entry fee. We loved it. They had also set up some smaller areas and had some plants set up purely for photographs. We think they could raise the entry fee to ¥300 and it would still be good value. Most of our photos are on the SLR camera, but here are a few phone shots...

城北公園に着くと新しい発見👀 スモーキングエリアが出来てました コンテナのような黒い箱型です これで煙草のポイ捨てが無くなれば良いですね(^_^)

雨は止んでも雲に覆われて薄暗いです 池の噴水も止まってました

淀川の河川敷へ移動 この辺りは城北ワンド 淀川の本流に沿って池や湿地帯ご広がっていて自然が守られています

秋を感じる冷たい風に吹かれながら虫の音♪ 自然と触れ合う大切な時間って行動しないと体験出来ない！ 時間を作って自ら行動するぞ！ 継続が大事だ！ってその時だけ思います(^_^)

雨上がりでも釣り人あり 毛馬の閘門を目指してテクテク 子供の頃にこの辺りて遊んでいた１８門鉄橋 今ではJRおおさか東線が開通 貨物列車が煙をモクモク吹き上げて走っていた光景が懐かしい(^_^)

毛馬の閘門に近づくと陽が沈んで夕焼けらしきオレンジ色 水溜まりのグランドで子供たちは元気にサッカーの練習をしてます 私も、中学の時はカチカチの土の、このグランドでラグビーの練習に励んでました
