Fureaino Sato Squirrel Garden — Attraction in Osakasayama

Access from metro is limited as you have to walk 20 minutes there, on a warm day, it might be great but, we had a hot and sunny day, the lady at the counter indicated a much better way to leave by bus going to kongo station, so this alternative is highly recommended.. (not indicated by Google maps). Once there, you get what you asked for, unlimited time with squirrels running around if you are OK befriending them. They sell healthy snacks for you to feed them with mittens. Staff is friendly and very very helpful. The lady literally brought me down to the street and pointing me to the bus stop. She could have just given me the map and leave me to figure it out, but she went out of her way to help us. Very much appreciated. There are other stuff, like Guinea pigs, place to bbq, parking, a very welcomed air conditioned area for us to cool off (after the walk). But we just went there to meet the squirrels. For the locals, it might be a good family...

Super fun place especially for kids and adults alike! The squirrels are friendly to people. You can feed the squirrels sunflower seeds for 100yen. There are also guinea pigs (marmot) here and you can feed them too! There's also a botanical garden and camp site areas. Very nice...

Un peu compliqué d'accès : ne suivez pas Google maps car il faut passer par le pont rouge en haut. Le lieu est chouette, l'entrée vraiment pas chère (200yens) et on peut également profiter d'un petit jardin botanique avec une mini cascade. Les écureuils sont un peu sauvages mais avec des graines de tournesol il est facile de les voir s'approcher et manger dans vos mains. Seul bémol, il y a beaucoup d'enfants. Nous y étions en matinée en semaine et malgré un parc assez calme, on a tout de même eu plusieurs familles avec des jeunes enfants qui crient et sautent partout pour voir les écureuils.

Le reste est très bien, ils ont beaucoup d'endroits où se cacher et sont en bonne santé. Ceci dit ça reste un parc où ils...
