菅塩沼からのハイキングコースは濃い緑の中を歩く、気持ちの良いコースです。ただ、整備(間伐)などのため、一部のコースが通行止めになっているので、迷わないように注意が必要です。沼の東側の駐車場からも石切場を見られるコースも有ります。太田市のホームページなどを参考にしてください。 ゆっくりと登りましょう。

八王子丘陵にある一等三角点の山で、木があって展望はあまり良くないが、落葉樹のため葉が落ちれば、展望は樹間からみえます。木がなければ、やはり一等三角点の山、展望が良いと思います。 山頂には、あずま屋と石祠があります。 標高は261.1mです。
