Visited in summer.

To access this nature park, easiest way is via cable car from Tsugaike Gondola Lift Eve.

All day parking is Yen 500

Gondola ride is 20 mins. Then a short walk to cable car station (5 min). Cable car leaves every 20 minutes. Takes 5 minutes to the top.

Adult price ticket for round trip is about Yen 4000

Note they operate from June to October. Then from ski season.

Hike is about 5.5km with 200m elevation change. 2 to 3 hours for casual hikwrs. First part of hike is on gentle wooden boards built on alpine medows. After crossing river the second part is much steeper and rooty.

Advise to avoid during wet weather unless you are experienced hiker.

Very beautiful.

Clean toilets and food service at the entrance of the park after the...

If you need a break from the city and are seeking to heal your exhausted soul, you should visit here. You can wander around in the park located at 1,900 m/ 6233 ft. I went to this place in June with my family, and it was such a pretty place. Walking the whole park took me 3 hours, but there are some benches to eat lunch and rest. At the entrance of the park, there is a food court and restrooms. I definitely recommend that you wear hiking boots. Some stairs are rotten, so be careful. There was some snow left in June, and it was quite something. You need tickets for a gondola and the park. I don't think you need to buy tickets in advance. Also, it was still cold in June, so bring a warm...

I visited on a sunny day in mid-October. Most of the autumn leaves I had expected were blown away by a typhoon a few days ago. However, under the blue sky, grass foliage in the foreground, white birch trunk and Mt. Hakuba in the distance! It was a wonderful scenery. I want to visit again in the early summer. In addition, the walking path is well maintained, but there are some climbing steep slopes and some wet places, It is better to go with firm shoes...
