The best time to d beach is when there is no one and you have it all to yourself! 😂 Well this is one of the hidden gems u cant get anywhere else. A beach for ur own insta, ur own play, ur own cam shots, etc. Well, its d winter time, so there will be lesser people around. We really mean it when there isnt anyone. Our journey took us all d way out battling the snow on the road and lots of counter steering. This would be at least an intermediate level. If u are a beginner, we would suggest to not challenge yourself here as you may get stuck in sudden piles of thick snow on the road. But if u can, u are welcomed to enjoy like us. No one drives past for hours and we thoroughly enjoyed our time, like totally! The return journey made it more challenging when the snow started continue to fall. The exit and enter point was d same for us. Although we wanted to go in further and exit from another point, we decided against it. The snow on the road is much more challenging as the snow has covered . We didnt want to risk not seeing visually, any holes on the ground that was covered by snow. This made the exit more challenging. Nway, lets dive in! Location: Secluded from main road where it is very quiet. Lots of small branching roads but need to make sure your Navigation leads u to d correct place ya. Amenities: Other than the sea and the beach, nothing there. BUT the view is superbly amazing. It is as tho, its like a painting, drawn by someone. Experience VS journey: We will definitely come back here again, no matter the weather. Yippieeee!! Cheers!

We went late in the day during a week day and it was really quiet. The sand is nice and the water was warm. The waves were not so big so he could do a lot of playing in the water and sand. It is really basic, it feels more a poor part of like Thailand than Japan. It could really do with some cleaning up and development. The car park was ¥1000 and they said no re-entry with your ticket, I thought that was a bit stingy. The car park and road are just dirt and are very worn down. There are some beach shops you can get bbq and drinks. They also rent out use of toilets and showers so bring cash. Bring your own shade and chairs as there really isn’t anything there apart from around the shops for their customers. I saw a life guard he seemed to be paying close attention to make sure everyone was safe which was good. There was no garbage lying around, just a few forgotten toys, so it was pleasant. But the sand was full of scraps from the sea, seaweed and stones, if they tidied it up a bit it would be so much nicer. In my home town back I. Scotland they have a tractor that drives up and down the beach and sifts out all the crap which makes the sand really nice for beach goers. If they allowed development and maintenance of this place, it would be Ana amazing resort to visit. The people at the shops were really friendly and kind to let us use their facilities even though they were closing for the day.

wonderful beach . i liked it . greenery next to beach makes it elegant. We went for sapporo, hokkaido beach clean up campaign. Lot of people from nearby areas arrived and its very pleasant beach. There we found lot of people have played here . The staff in the photo is the COOP personal who helping the event here. I may enjoy visiting again too. Dream Beach....

Honestly speaking I was quite disappointed. The weather was a bit gloomy that day but still friends told me to go there and check out this place. However when I arrived I found quite a messy beach with a lot of garbage. There were also several Japanese youngster drinking and making huge noise. Felt a bit scared and not really welcome.

Still I took some time to explore the whole place but didn't really fell in love with it. If you have some additional spare time in Sapporo and want to get out of the busy city, I would say give it a try. However can't really recommend this place and a bit far from being a real...
