This resort is fantastic. It has 2 main lifts on the front face and then a second longer lift to the right which leads to off piste tracks and 4 or so other runs. There is both beginner and more advanced terrain on piste (including a rope course for early beginners just learning to ski). The piste is excellently groomed and has a great pitch and multiple runs on the fall line. Myself (intermediate skier) and my partner (advanced skier) travelled here and came back for a second day. The weekend is a little busier than the weekdays (where it is genuinely practically empty) but on both you will barely have to wait for the lift. The cafeteria does excellent meals for around 1,000 yen and the staff and lift operators are all very friendly and go above and beyond. If you are staying close by I would definitely recommend a visit. Also … the day pass comes with free access to the onsen down the road which is such a nice way to end a cold day...

Great value for the price. Decent tree skiing when other mountains are long tracked out. I wish they had merchandise of their awesome strawberry mascot. Day passes are typically in 4 hour blocks, it was not clear if they offer an open to close pass. It was $45 USD for two adults and two meal tickets! Steal of a deal. One word of caution for other tourist skiers is that the lift ticket you get is a waterproof paper pass with no way attach it your jacket or bibs. We just happened to have tyvek tape in our backpack which did the trick! I think most of the locals use an arm band which they put the pass in. They sell them in the building by the blue lift for about 900 yen at the time of writing. We did the tape trick but others may end up having to spend the extra 900 yen but it's so cheap...

A fantastic little ski resort. We were getting fresh tracks here 3 days after it snowed.

Amazing grooming too, some seriously good corduroy with the sides left ungroomed for some little stashes.

Much like the other local resorts, the locals all seem to stick to the same area, meaning you can find fantastic fresh lines around with very little effort.

The blue chair is great, nice and long with some great lines.

And the cute double green chair is great for getting your hip to the ground.

Cheap as lift tickets, grab a 4H pass and have lunch for well under 3000/person

Highly recommend spending a day at this adorable little resort, had a great time spending...

DO NOT go to this ski resort bc this place is discriminative to foreigners and has the worst attitude. There was a problem that the ski I rented(the ski didnt connect to the boots correctly and came off several times) so I asked for an exchange, but they refused to replace the ski because I’ve already used it. Then suddenly a man who looked like the owner started to repeatedly shout at us, "Get out of here" and he even called the police. For wanting a exchange for a broken rental ski! Eventually it was confirmed that there was a problem with the ski I rented, and I got a partial refund, but the service and the way the owner handled the situation was unbelievably terrible. Do not go to this ski resort, unless you actually like getting threaten by police for wanting to exchange a broken ski.
