Hard to get to and back if you don’t have a car. DiDi does not service the area, there is a shuttle bus that’s call on-demand to get to and from the nearest bus stop (5min drive - walking is not advisable) from which you can take a bus down to the train station.
We went off season during September on a weekday and it was practically empty with most areas either closed or not manned. Chicken coop was the only gem of the farm with friendly chickens and the tastiest freshest pick your own eggs (700 yen each). Grapes were in season but the vineyard was at the furthest end from the entrance and when we got there we found it in disarray covered in cobwebs and a crazy amount of mosquitoes.
Recommend going only when more crops are in season (eg strawberries) or weekends where the farm gets more populated and maybe better staffed then. There is also an onsen with cafe in the middle of the park where you could visit to make the trip up there a little...
