Nice mountain top with steps going up from 3 or 4 sides. The view on top gives a nice overlook of the area, with the monuments of the park...

Beautiful place to go if you are staying in Sapporo it's about a 30 min ride from the main city and offers a good short hike....

もともと札幌のゴミ埋立地だった場所でイサムノグチがデザインした公園です。広大な敷地では、ウォーキングやランニングしている方も多く、外周のモエレ沼ではフナ釣りをしている方もいます。夏には雷魚（カムルチー）狙いのルアーマンも来ており、水面をカエルのルアーが飛び跳ねます。 コロナ禍のため、噴水や施設利用は出来ませんが、通常時は時間ごとのプログラムによる噴水や、子ども向けのモエレビーチでの水遊びも可能。 駐車場は3箇所の入り口からアクセス可です。 日陰が少ないので夏は日除けを忘れずに。 白樺並木もありますが虫刺され注意です。
