Kujuku Shima Visitor Center — Attraction in Sasebo

There are two ships available, the Pearl Queen and the Pirate Boat Mirai. The first ship's design is what I can call standard/classic, while the pirate one is colorful and has personality. I planned to ride the pirate boat, but as I arrived I discovered that the two ships alternate, meaning the Pearl Queen travels every 10am, 11am, so on, and the Pirate Boat at 9:30am, 10:30am, and so on. We had to go back to the station early so we had to ride the Pearl Queen. Nonetheless, we got to see a glimpse of the Pirate boat twice, first going to and second going back. It's still far away, but better than nothing.

The ride lasts for 50 minutes. It's sunny at the top and the wind blows nicely. There's also a viewing deck below the top floor, not much wind but no direct sunlight.

There are quite a number of interesting rock and island formations. My favorite is the rock formation that looks like a dog. You can see this halfway through the return trip. You can catch a picture together with this considerably close, but you have to be prepared...

令和4年4月18日に訪問しました。 着いたところは、海に面した所に縦にお店が列を作って配置されていました。 一番手前の奥まったところで昼食を取り、その後一番奥の所にある九十九島ビジターセンターから九十九島の遊覧船に乗ってこの色々な島の観光に行きました。 私は、九十九島と言う名前を聞くのも初めてでしたし、私の脳内地図で何処にいるのかも検討がつかない所です。 佐世保の近くだという事は分っているのですが、どうしても九州の地図が脳の中に浮かんでこないのです。 でも、良いところだという事は聞いていましたので、早速遊覧船に乗って船上から島の風景を見学です。 こうして、船の上からゆっくり見下ろしながら景色を楽しむのって良いですね。 何処だか分からない位置関係にあるのですが、綺麗な水で島の近くまで行ってユータンして色々な島に近づきます。 動画も撮って楽しみましたが、友人たちとお話をするのがとても嬉しくて、景色を見ているスキはありません。 それでも、1時間近い遊覧でとても海の空気に触れて、海の臭いを嗅いてこの素晴ら...
