One of the nicest and exciting Michi no Eki's in this part of Japan.
It's clean has lots of parking (but can still be packed depending on the time of day so beware), and has an amazing arrangement of foods and goods for sale---this is definitely its selling point!
Aside from also the food served by the "restaurant" inside, there's also bread and other food stuff sold inside. These terms to be more unique than other foods you'd find at the grocery store, so if you're looking for something new to try, give this place a shot. For example, they sell deer meat sausages and even chips: there's also boar (inoshishi) food products for sale too.
Outside also presents an opportunity for more delicious food stuff. There are independent sellers as well, with booths, and even food stalls. One guy had a super barbeque gig going on when I went last.
By the way, the restaurant (and I assume the normal super inside) take credit card so you can rest assured.

2023年秋訪問。
マンテネーレバルカフェから車で3分程の 場所にある道の駅。 観光客と言うより、地元の人達で 賑わっていました。
道の駅らしい地の野菜、果物以外に お惣菜類やパンが豊富で観光客は 間違いなくテンションが上がると思います！
特にハンバーガーは、 せらバーガープロジェクトと言う 取り組みをされていて、 地元のお店がオリジナルのハンバーガーを 作っています。 この時はそれ程食いつく商品がなかったのと 他にも買いたい物が多くて我慢しました。
2024年もリニューアルして、 せらバーガープロジェクトを 開催しているので、 興味のある方はぜひHPを確認してください。
イートインコーナーもあり、 平日にも関わらず、とても賑わっていました。
●おかずセット￥400 どのお店の商品かわからないけど、 峠の厚焼き玉子と言う商品を 作っているお店の物。
厚焼き玉子、唐揚げ、おかずセットが あったので、欲張りはやっぱりセット！
厚焼き玉子は甘めの家庭の味。 添えてる葉が本物なのに驚きました！ コロッケはじゃがいものみ。 唐揚げはしっかり味でおかずにピッタリ。
●秋川鶏と木次チーズのサンドイッチ レシートの印字が消えていて価格不明。
世羅町にあるスペイン人と日本人の ご夫婦が営むおへそカフェ&ベーカリーの商品。
原材料には原産地も記載されていました。 小麦粉は熊本、広島県、鶏肉は山口県、 チーズは島根県製造までは読めるけど、 あとは印字が薄くて… 何かは広島県産になってました。 メモには野菜は世羅産と残ってました。
シンプルなもっちりパンで、 マヨネーズの塩分が控えめなので、 素材の味が引き立っていました。
●ふんわりバンズ これも印字が消えていて価格不明。 でもすごく安かった記憶があります。
バーガー用の丸パンで、粉、水、 オリーブオイルだけで作られています。 小麦粉は国産小麦100%。 とてもシンプルで軽めのパンです。 お砂糖が入ってないから、 少し馴染みがない感じもあるけど、 素朴で美味しかったです。
