Really enjoyed this quiet place. There’s really not much to do here except the serenity and quiet, and it’s a great start in the morning particularly if you do not like frantic energy. This is a late review and I was here in 2022 but I suppose the place have not changed much. Of course, I was also drawn here by its historical importance - it is the place where the ancestor of famous warlord Tokugawa Ieyasu and founder of the Owari Domain, Tokugawa Yoshinao (Genkei), is enshrined.

The temple is noted for the mausoleum of Tokugawa Yoshinao, the son of Tokugawa Ieyasu and founding daimyō of Owari Domain. If you up for a challenge, try climbing the stone stairs from bottom up to the entrance of the temple. There is also a secret spot uphill where you can see Nagoya city from a far.
