道から見えたので立ち寄り。 ヘゴの木があって南国っぽいです。 『 ウティリミズヌ瀧（嘉入の瀧） この瀧は、古来「ウティリミズヌ瀧」として地域住民に親しまれ、聖域としてノロの親神だけが肌身を浄めるエリアでもあった。観光客が増えた頃から「嘉入の瀧」と呼ばれるようになった。 水源地は、標高310mの嘉入山で、七谷に跨る田んぼでは稲作が行われ、豊富な水量に恵まれて、清流を瀧に落し、大川を経て大海へ注がれている。 瀧の落差は15m、瀧壺は約2mあり、瀧の王者大鰻が棲息していると言われ続けている。 この龍は、奄美のバス路線で唯一、直に瀧を臨むことのできる景観で、年中絶やすことなく清水を流して、道行く人々に癒しと清涼感を与えている。』

瀬相の港から島の周回道路を北に10分ほど、分岐を山側に上がり20分ほどグネグネと山道を走ると道沿いに見えてくる滝。

別名「ウティリミズヌ瀧」

落差15ｍ。規模はそれほど大きくないですが地元では聖域の様です。

滝つぼには大鰻がいるとの伝承があるそうです。

車線は細いですが車1台分ほどの、すれ違える退避場があり短時間なら車も停車可能でしょう。私はバイクで行きましたが...
