Shimizu Park — Attraction in Shimizu

Shimizu Park is a wonderful place to spend the day, combining nature, relaxation, and fun activities. The seasonal flowers are beautiful, especially the cherry blossoms in spring, which make the park very photogenic. The field athletics course is a highlight with its mix of obstacles, rope bridges, and water challenges that both kids and adults can enjoy. There are also wide open spaces for picnics, along with clean facilities, cafés, and rest areas that make the visit comfortable.

On the downside, the park can get crowded on weekends and holidays, and the athletic areas, particularly the water course, can become muddy and slippery, so it is best to bring extra clothes and proper footwear. Small but very nice park. It has a good boating pond with loads of fish in it. The boats are cheap to rent and are all really good quality. I got a good workout...
