Very beautiful tree that took about 30 minutes to get to on foot. The land itself is completely fenced off, so you’re not allowed to get anywhere near the tree and can only observe from the road. Drones are also not allowed. It’s quite out of the way from the main farm at Koiwai, so for this reason and the fact that you can only observe from the road, I don’t think it’s worth the trek unless you have a car and happen to pass by the area. There’s no sidewalk to walk on so you’re sharing the road with the cars that pass by...

Be careful when crossing the street because the cars do tend to speed down this wide straight road. The cheery blossoms bloom sometime between end of April and beginning of May and tends to bloom just a little later than a lot of the other cherry trees...
