友達と一緒に楽しかった。 富士山が見えなくて残念だけど。 きれいなところだ。

Satta Pass is a magnificent viewpoint overlooking Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. If the weather is clear, you can admire the majestic figure of Mount Fuji. A landscape view from here was drawn by Utagawa Hiroshige, a famous ukiyo-e artist of the 19th century who influenced European painters such as Van Gogh and Monet. Although nowadays a highway stretches through the superb view of Mount Fuji and the sea, the beauty remains unchanged from the Edo period. Leave your car in the parking lot, proceed up a narrow walking path, and eventually Mount Fuji will appear. Surrounding the walking paths are lush trees full of tangerines, a specialty product of Shizuoka, and the gentle landscape of Shizuoka...

I took the Tomei Expressway from Tokyo to reach this location and was able to arrive about 30 minutes before sunrise. By the time I reached the outlook spot where you have the best view of Mt. Fuji, several other photographers had already shown up and had their tripods out waiting for the sun to rise. The small parking lot is free with onsite restrooms. Great place to capture shots of Mt. Fuji and to enjoy long-exposure shots as traffic zooms by on the Tomei Highway below the pass. ★★Check out the Pix4Japan YouTube channel for a short video highlighting the vibe of...

Weather was good, sunny but a bit windy. A 3-km hike up Satta pass from JR Yui station (45-min leisurely walk) With signs both in Japanese and English you won't get lost ,the trail is pretty straighforward. Toilet at the top and vending machines along the way. Oranges everywhere 😁 Just bring some food for your fuel but please don't litter, bring your trash back with you. The walk is worth it, the view of Mt Fuji and the sea is beautiful. The photos just didn't give justice to the beauty of...

A famous spot with a lot of history, where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Suruga Bay and Fuji san, if the weather is cooperative. The parking lot is very small, with only 7 spots. Toilet facilities on site. You can enjoy a little stroll there, there's a platform a couple minutes away from the parking lot. There's a big map, telling you about the different trails (Hamashidake )nearby and other landmarks.
