The view here is really nice on a sunny day, Toya and Yotei together. I came on June so it was the end of it but it should be nice to come mid May for cherry blossoms!

かつては、この小山を物見山と呼んだらしい。西に有珠山と昭和新山、北西に洞爺湖温泉とウィンザーホテル洞爺。さらに遠くニセコ連山を望み、北正面に洞爺湖と中島四島、北東には羊蹄山。 東に徳瞬別岳、南には壮瞥の街並みを一望にできる、正に言い得て妙な物見山です。 ちなみに、この山の南側（滝不動尊の前）から３６地蔵巡りをしつつ登り、山頂で四方を眺めてから湖畔へ降りて、道道２号線の坂を下るのが定番の散歩コースです。
