Shonan Beach — Attraction in Suo-Oshima

Stunning little beach, absolutely deserted in March. I'm here visiting my wife's family in Yanai. Shonan beach on the South side of Suo Oshima Island is unbelievable. I watched a pair of (I think from the markings) Black Kites hunting over the bay. Near the beach there is a steep slope built on to the side of a building, which I climbed to discover a hanglider take off spot (I assume).
