They also offer several paid activities, including an indoor playground and bike rides around the park. It’s recommended to bring your own food and drink because no supermarket/kombini nearby, but they have restaurant inside the building. At the back it is connected to Lake Biwa, and we can play by the lake. Read moreWe arrived at 9:10am on a Tuesday in May. All boom gates to the car park were down and unattended. We parked nearby and walked through the car park into the playground. There was no one else here, so had the place to ourselves. Our 14 & 15 year olds had the best time, even saying "this is the best playground we've ever been to!". They were very keen to use the drop slide and the rest of the older kid equipment, but it was all ropped off. Toilets were clean and well stocked. We didn't try the restaurant, because it looked closed and unattended. It was a bit eerie being the only ones here, but we had a great time with lots of old school play equipment....
