Takayamafureai Park — Attraction in Takayama

A really great playground. So much to do and so much space to run around! A long roller slide, a flying fox, swings, a separate toddler playground, an observation tower… all with a great view and fresh air. We stayed the night at the rest area and our daughter loved starting the day at this playground. Note that the toilets nearest to the playground don’t open until 8:30am, so head to the main facilities if you’re playing early and need the restroom. We were impressed that the playground toilets have a small toilet for children though!! So rarely see that. This park has everything, from lots of parking and picnic areas to a zip line and a roller slide. It's pretty far away from anything, but people don't seem to mind driving up here. On a Sunday afternoon it's pretty busy. Like most Japanese parks there is a bathroom and water fountains. Besides the bigger play structure there's also a small one for little kids.
