Maerchen Village — Attraction in Takeo

Underrated find for families with young children! Planned only as a short stop off on the drive from Nagasaki to Fukuoka, we ended up spending a few hours here and wish we could have stayed longer! Soo much for our little ones to explore - from ball pit, to a show, to indoor play areas, to rides and a train! Even though the facilities are quite old, everything was clean and the food was great! Uh… it’s… special. It’s a little theme park that got stuck in the past. No renovations or anything since then, but that kind of makes it fun. Fairy tale themed, but I’m not sure what the fairy tale is.
