A mountain deck perched atop a view of a large dam connected by a cable car. It's also the first point where you transit to the opposite side of the Tateyama Alpine route if you are travelling from the Toyama side (connected by electric bus underground from Murado). It's a nice stop for lunch with a view and rest before continuing on your journey.

Please take your time & enjoy, this place os magical. Don’t rush to hop from the tunnel bus to the ropeway. There are 2 observation decks that worth it. They have chairs & tables so you can eat your lunch here! (Please bring your trash with you of course)

Amazing ropeway station with an observation deck on it. The mountain view is stunning, covered with snow. I was lucky that the weather is so clean, not clouded or raining, and I able to take some beautiful pictures of the views.

Getting up to 2000+ M heights without hiking the boots off. Love the cable car and electric bus/train system. Very environmentally friendly. The scenery is brilliant both in summer and winter. Worth a look.

Do not rush past this stop. Keep some time to spend here, the observation deck offers a 360 degrees view. The ropeway ride down is also one of the best experiences of the alpine route.

Best view at this station. I'm here 3rd week of October, and autumn colors have been started few weeks ago. It's too late in some area in tateyama.l, but not here.
