Gakekannon temple — Attraction in Tateyama

It's a challenging climb up the side of a hill. The steps are uneven and it was raining when we were there. However, elderly Japanese locals were climbing the shrine and so we had to try to climb it. A peaceful and beautiful Kannon temple built on a cliff. Opens only till 430pm so plan your trip ahead. Climbing up the trail can be tricky for the elderly. The view at the top is great.
