豪雨被害に遭っていないことを願っています。 紅葉の中、建屋の佇まいも魅力の一つです。 新しい釉薬かな？今まで見た覚えのない少し金色の光沢のあるものが出ていました。こういうのも良いです。 お気に入りの猪口を不注意で割ってしまいました。 また、探しに行こう。 近年の水害の被害も克服されました。 当代は勿論の事、何代も続けて素晴らしい作品の数々を世に送り出して下さって有難うございます。 萱葺きの屋根が見事です。これは公的資金を注込んでも残して欲しい。

数ある小石原焼の中で特に好きな高取焼の中で最も好きな窯元です。当代である八山氏はもちろん、奥様そして息子さんである春慶氏の作品もどれも素晴らしく、美術品としての造形もさる事ながら、しっかりと使い手の感覚になって良く考えられている逸品ばかりです。どれもこれも欲しくなり定期的に通っております。 家屋そして外の木々も歴史ある圧巻の佇まい。 予約をすれば時期により陶芸体験も可能です。

茶道界で静山の茶壺と言えば知らない人はいないほど緻密で潔い作品は、若い頃高くて手が出ませんでした、やっと購入した菓子鉢は大切にしまっています(笑)。八山の研ぎ澄まされた感覚とほのかに漂う優しさの作品にも魅了されます。普段に小皿を使っていてテーブルに一枚あるだけで全然感じが違います。飯碗や皿など飾っても楽しめますし、大事な客で話題になったり、好みの良い食器に囲まれての生活は身も心も豊かに潤います!...
