Kiyotsugawa Fresh Park — Attraction in Tokamachi

Just had the best time at this place. We originally planned to only camp one night but were so confortable we extended our stay. The surrounding is calm and river appeasing. The park has toilets and a water point. Trash is to be carefully managed and brought back with you so not to damage this small paradise, including ashes. The onsen within 2 mins walk is great (can be hot for some people), be careful to have some cash on hand as they do...

Fresh Park is a great place for a barbecue picnic! You can also stay overnight in a tent after enjoying the nearby Yukura bathhouse. When the water warms up a bit the river is also fun to play around in....
